- Identification of current strengths and weaknesses as a presenter.
- Focus on the verbal and non-verbal communication elements which need to be congruent when delivering a presentation.
- Understand the importance of slowing down the pace of delivery – and enunciating words clearly.
- How our nerves (mental and physical) can hijack our potential and effectiveness
- Discuss techniques to control the physical and mental dimensions of the effective presenter
- How to structure and signpost your presentation effectively
- Build up a toolkit of practical techniques, ranging from PowerPoint, running the Q&A, and structuring the sub elements of the presentation
- Practice delivering a presentation of up to 10 minutes, applying the learning from the workshop, and receiving feedback from the trainer and your colleagues
